Hello LA Hokies-

I am the Education Specialist with the National Office of Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda in Reston, VA. I received your information through the Virginia Tech Alumni Association website as the chapter contacts from San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Yes, I am a Hokie, through and through. Originally grew up in the Blacksburg area so it’s always been a part of my life. Enjoyed it so much the first time, went back and got two more degrees. (97, 02, 05) Go Hokies!!!

Back to business. The purpose of my email is to request your assistance in sharing the attached information with your chapter’s membership and those who you believe might be interested in volunteering to serve as a judge at the upcoming 2009 Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) National Leadership Conference being held the last two weeks of June in Anaheim. This is a great opportunity to see tomorrow’s leaders in action while networking with current business leaders and professionals, many from Fortune 500 companies.

This year there will be approximately 8,000-9,000 members from the collegiate and high school levels attending this national event. In total, we will be in need of over 500 judges so any assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
