Fall 2011 LA Hokies Update

Hi Everyone -

Opening day is just around the corner - the Hokies take on App State in Blacksburg on the 3rd of September. We'll be in Hermosa Beach again this year at Chelsea Pub and Lounge watching the game. Kickoff is at 9:30am local time - come join us!

We are lining up a great location in Hollywood and hope to kick things off there for the ECU game on the 10th. Since the first game is only on espn3.com (as far as we know) our bar options are…

Football - Hermosa Beach Only vs. ECU

The ECU game is an internet broadcast so we'll only be in Hermosa Beach again this week. Mike Mazonkey will be setting up and might need some help taking everything down at the end. Find him at the bar if you can help.

JMU GAME WILL ONLY BE SEEN IN HERMOSA

THERE WILL BE NO HOLLYWOOD LOCATION FOR THE JMU GAME - SPREAD THE WORD.

We were unable to find a bar that can get the game from the internet to the bar televisions. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you know if a place that can do this for us in the Hollywood area, we'll hit them up for ECU.

Downtown Home for Hokie Game Watches

Hey folks - we're looking at an awesome downtown home for what has traditionally been our Hollywood game watch. A local Hokie is opening Dublin's around the corner from the 7th Street Metro Center station downtown. As long as we show up, we'll have guaranteed video AND AUDIO, great food, and tons of beers on tap for $3 a pint.

No Hollywood Watch Party this weekend!!

Due to the Marshall game being televised on ESPN360 this Saturday, we will not have the ability to broadcast the game at Big Wang's. :(
