One Month From Kickoff!!

Hello everyone!

We're a month away from kickoff, and we wanted to provide an update for football watching parties:

We're carrying on with our well-established football watching party in the South Bay, where Victor has arranged TV and sound privileges at Cruz Room in Hermosa Beach. If you care to get updates on these particular football watching events, please subscribe to the 'South Bay Hokies' group!

We have not had any takers in helping to establish our Hollywood football parties, as of yet. :( We understand that both Big Wang's and Hollywood Billiards have historically had Hokies out. What we would like to accomplish, is for those of you outside of the South Bay, to subscribe to the group that best fits your area (Santa Monica/Santa Barbara/Hollywood) and discuss amongst yourselves where you'd like to meet up for games. We will be sending a mailer soon from the Alumni office, further encouraging participation on LAHokies.com; hoping we can get more people engaged in our online community. Hopefully this will translate into more people interacting within their own districts of LA to get together for games and other events.

Hope everyone is having a great summer, and we will be putting up more notifications soon on other LAHokies ongoings!
