Dear Chapter President and fellow alumni,
One more e-mail from a Hokie about Virginia Tech's Relay for Life event!
Our event will be taking place this Friday and Saturday (April 24-25) on the drillfield, from 6pm-6am. There will be free food, entertainment, games, and fun! It's a family friendly event, so if you happen to be back in town for the spring game, feel free to stop on by with your family - we would love to see you!
Also, if any alum would be interested in doing a little community service, we will need lots of volunteers to help us disassemble the event from 6am-10am, so come on by if you want to up your VT Engage hours.
If you won't be in town, but still want to contribute, please go to www.vtrelay.org to learn about ways to do so. You can donate to a team (maybe an organization you were involved in while you were here has a team you can contribute to) or an individual. Currently there are over 5,000 people registered for Relay and we have raised over $390,000. In order to meet our fundraising goal of $500,000, we need your help! So please, go visit www.vtrelay.org and see how you can help your alma mater become the #1 collegiate Relay in the country!
Again, thanks for your help and support in the fight against cancer. We really appreciate it, from one Hokie to another!

Melissa Trotman
